Course Summary: Preventative Maintenance and Surveillance (PM/S) Overview course covers the work management process for maintenance recall. It defines the responsibilities of key personnel within the process. The Job Control System (JCS) is presented as the computer maintenance management system used onsite with the database for the work management process. The retrain frequency is to be determined by the facility.
The training includes the following topics.

Run forecast reports

Transcribe data sheets, close, and view reports

Add data sheet to maintenance work package

Archive work packages and show component history

Review PM/S active/inactive files

PM/S global update

Perform PM/S activity cycle cancel/waive
Target Audience: This course is intended for personnel using JCS to implement maintenance recall portion of JCS Work Management.
Course Prerequisites: Basic computer skills and knowledge of windows.
