Target Audience: This course is required by state and federal law for workers involved in asbestos abatement and removal.
Course Prerequisites: There are no course prerequisites.
Course Evaluation: This course includes a mock abatement project in which students hang plastic, set up a negative air system, construct a decontamination unit, and learn how to safely remove debris and execute cleanup tasks. A comprehensive examination is given on the last day of the course, and a certificate of training is awarded to each student upon successful completion of the course.
