Course Summary: This Homeland Security series of First Responder Courses are developed using OSHA and FEMA emergency preparedness requirements. Using the local Hazardous Materials Management Emergency Response (HAMMER) training facility, EnergX-TFE can make available essential training needed for uniformed first responders to ensure they effectively manage an event or an attack. Target Audience: The Uniformed First Responders (UFR) are those people who make up the local emergency response systems. They encompass a broad spectrum of personnel including firefighters, hazmat teams, paramedics, law enforcement, emergency preparedness teams, EMTs, spill response teams and the like.
Course Prerequisites: There are no course prerequisites.
Course Evaluation: Class discussions, table top exercises and practical drills will be used to measure student mastery of the training objectives.
Course Length: Each module would vary.
Course Frequency: Upon request.
